The Project
Client: Havilah Cunnington is a bestselling author, speaker, and podcaster who’s written over 12 books.
Deliverables: Sales page, email sequence, and social media ad copy
With the dream of making writing a book more accessible, Havilah created a lower-cost, self-paced course that was already performing well. Her goals was to take that course and create a premium, 4-month intensive program for people who were serious about writing a book.
Key challenges:
This was her highest ticket offer to date
The program had never been run before
There were no program-specific testimonials or launch data to rely on
The goal was to build Havilah’s authority as an author, clearly communicate the high value of the program, and drive enrollment with limited direct social proof.
My Role & Responsibilities
As Havilah’s copywriter, I developed messaging for full launch funnel from lead generation to enrollment. I focused on 3 things:
Showing a deep understanding of the challenges people face when setting out to write a book
Building Havilah’s authority as a working mom of 4 who had written 12 books with a jam-packed schedule
Clearly communicating Havilah’s process, unique positioning as a Christian author, and what people could expect from the program
I wrote:
Email sequences for a free webinar designed to attract and educate aspiring authors
Application and launch emails guiding interested writers to apply
Live call follow-up sequences moving call attendees from interest to enrollment
A long-form sales page and supporting social ad copy, all aligned with Havilah’s approachable yet confident brand voice
